Administration may block any account if misused.

By signing up to this site you are confirming that you are a parent of a child visiting St. George's School. All information provided here by members of this site is private and confidential and only available to registered members. None of this information may be copied, used or published in any form or way by any member or member account. Any member not complying with these terms of use will be blocked without notice and may be subject to legal action.

“This Site” refers to the service provided subject to these General Terms and Conditions and/or “This Site” on the URL of www.stgeorgesroquetas.info.
The protection of your personal data is of utmost concern to “This Site”.
In these terms and conditions on data protection “This Site” would like to inform you about how “This Site” treats your personal data and how you can exchange this data with other users of “This Site”.
These terms and conditions supplement the General Terms and Conditions for using “This Site”.

1. Basic Principles of “This Site” for handling your Personal Data

“This Site” strictly adheres to the following basic principles in the protection of your Personal Data:

  • "“This Site” Services" shall mean all registration based services provided by “This Site”.
  • "Registration Data" shall mean the Personal Data you are obliged to make available to “This Site” in the registration process for the “This Site” Services (mandatory fields).
  • "Profile" shall mean the “This Site” Website page where the Personal Data you have made available to “This Site” is displayed in accordance with your specifications and your consent.

3. What does “This Site” know about you, what do you give “This Site” and “This Site” Members permission to do, and what happens with your Personal Data?
3.1 Registration Data
In order for the “This Site” Services to function, “This Site” needs to collect and process certain elements of your Personal Data in the course of the registration process. First of all, this consists of the following data:

You may restrict the ability of “This Site” Members to send you private messages at any time to the effect that either no “This Site” Members or only selected contacts may send you private messages.
As you can see, “This Site” gives you complete control over your own privacy at all times!
4. Search Functions
The “This Site” Services offer various possibilities to search for particular “This Site” Members, including a Powersearch feature and a Search Agent feature. These various search functions may assist you, for example, in finding other “This Site” Members with similar interests. The search functions can also help you to initiate contact with other “This Site” Members who offer exactly what you are looking for. Thus, you can find the contacts you need - and systematically expand your personal network.
5. Cookies
After you have logged in to “This Site” Services with your user name and password, “This Site” uses cookies in order to identify you during the course of your session. A cookie will be stored on your computer. You can save this cookie on your computer to enable automatic login for subsequent sessions by activating the function: "Login automatically on this computer". The cookie will then store part of your login data in encrypted form. If you select automatic login, please be aware that this will then only be possible on the same computer on which the cookie was first saved, i.e. an automatic login on two (2) different computers is not possible.
6. Log Files

This log file will be stored by “This Site” in the standardized "combined" log file format for the Apache Web server. “This Site” uses the data from this log file in anonymous form without reference to your person for statistical purposes. In doing so, “This Site” may analyze on which days and at which time the “This Site” Services are particularly frequented and how much data volume is created on the “This Site” Websites. Furthermore, by using the log file, “This Site” can identify defects on the “This Site” Websites, such as defective hyperlinks or program defects, and thus continually improve the quality of the “This Site” Websites. “This Site” does not attribute the website demands stored in the log file to specific individual users. However, “This Site” reserves the right to review the log files from the last known IP address of a “This Site”-Member where “This Site” has reasonable cause to believe that the member is using “This Site” Services in breach of contractual agreements or the applicable legislation. In doing this, “This Site” is protecting other “This Site” Members, the safety of “This Site” Members’ data, as well as “This Site” Websites and the “This Site” Services.
7. Under Age
Membership of “This Site” Services is reserved to persons who have reached the legal age of 18. Parents and legal guardians are responsible for the protection of their children's privacy.

8. Changes to these Terms and Conditions on Data Protection
“This Site” reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions on Data Protection, in the event that this becomes necessary due to gaps in these Terms and Conditions on Data Protection identified after their release, or in the event that it becomes necessary with respect to additional or amended services provided by “This Site”. “This Site” will notify you of any amendments to these Terms and Conditions on Data Protection by email to the email account you provided to “This Site” in the course of your registration.
